We stayed at this property last week. What a gem of a property. It is a beautiful cottage, inside and outside. Two bedrooms upstairs and a further sofa bed downstairs . The kitchen and lounge are a good size for relaxing and cooking. Additionally, you can relax on the patio or use the hot tub. The gardens are beautifully kept, and the host Asa is very accommodating and helpful. We had a lovely stay, lots of places to see in the area and definitely be coming back.
Amazing place to stay very relaxing, beautiful surroundings and close by driving distant to Durham City and lovely beaches. And the host is a smashing friendly guy. Highly recommended
3-day stay July,-Home from home-great surroundings-very relaxing and perfect! It was clean and had all you need and the added extra of a hot tub, which we used daily and was very relaxing. Dogs loved the walks on the grounds. Would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return. The host was very helpful and on hand which was reassuring.
Hi we stayed at Asa’s beautiful cottage back in November ,the grounds and the cottage are amazing .This is a really special retreat for a break .The amazing service we received from the host was also second to none . Highly recommend staying here . We look forward to rebooking this year .
We had an excellent stay at Hoggersgate Farm, Very cosy guest house, very well equipped kitchen & very spacious living area. The hot tub was lovely on the warm days. Also charged our car on the electric charging point that was very useful. We really loved our stay and would happily come back.
This is a very beautiful property in a scenic location. Our stay was very relaxing and peaceful and we will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Asa was very friendly and helpful and everything we needed was provided.
Had a lovely few days at this outstanding property a short drive to the city of Durham. Easy to find on enter the grounds it has an amazing wow factor and this goes on into the property. It's a very beautiful cottage 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs and a double sofa bed downstairs. The gardens are extensive, there are lovely private areas for you to sit in. The accommodation was so beautifully clean, probably the cleanest I have seen for a long time. The owner was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. If you want to stay in a peaceful relaxing property but be near enough to restaurants and shops, this is the place to stay.
Stayed here with my wife and dog a few weeks ago. What an absolute hidden gem! The grounds are fantastic, the guest house is superb. Everything is very well thought out, wants for nothing. Log burner with supplies, wifi, parking, spacious... Really can't wait to stop here again. Hot tub is a nice bonus too.
